Erin is one of, if not, the oldest friend I have. We met in fourth grade and have managed to keep in touch over the years. I blame Erin. And this little girl I played tag with in elementary school is now a mother of an adorable little boy. She and her husband Mike had Alysia two years ago and we had a wonderful ...
Phoenix, Arizona, United States brandonibologna... footed in the Pacific Northwest, you don't think about where your water comes from. And reclaimed water? Yucky.<br>But here in the desert reclaimed water is what makes the golf possible. And in Arizona, golf is king.<br>Water courses through Phoenix like an Oregon holiday--wet and extravagant. I cringe to see man made ponds, lakes, waterfalls and rivers in this desert decorate developments like baubles on a tree.<br>But when you know they've ...
Chandler, Arizona, United States bobnkaren... sunbelt section of Arizona and California. We've arrived a bit early - the true snowbirds head south after Christmas - but all the same I have to have a plan and we will need reservations at most places. <br><br>We will be staying mostly at membership parks. These require even more planning since you can only make your reservations a certain number of days ahead of time. So, here's where you can find us this 'season'<br><br>11/15/2009 - Manteca ...
Mesa, Arizona, United States thesairs... Lauren ha the ipod playing. We also did coach introductions where you had to tell the coach about the person sitting net to you which was fun. We stayed at the Marriott which was great. Scottsdale is like the stereotypical cowboy/dessert town with seats made from old wagons and cactus's everywhere, felt almost like going back in time. Dinner was at a Greek restaurant where they were quick to get ...
Scottsdale, Arizona, United States edwardallinWe started our trip from Tempe, Arizona (see how we currently lived there). Our goal was to find a new life and our destination was the south-west, southeast, and notrth-east sections of the United States.<br><br>So it was time to say our 'Good byes.'

I also hope to put a good map up on this site so you can see where I actually am in the world. <br><br>I'd love to hear from any and all of you as it is so great to hear your reactions to what I write as well as what you are up to wherever you may be in the wide world. <br><br>With that said, you can look forward to hearing from me again in about a week...FROM CAIRO!! <br><br>Ma'as Salaama! <br>Katy
Phoenix, Arizona, United States katertot1978I'm at Phoenix Airport now waiting for my next flight at 1PM. I've never been to Phoenix Airport before even though I have been here, since last time we drove from Las Vegas to come here. The airport is pretty nice. It even has like "bars" looking place with stools for people with computers to sit on. Anyway, it will be a while but at least I won't be bored. :)
Phoenix, Arizona, United States bogna... TO HELL, AND MY ETERNAL PUNISHMENT WAS TO DRIVE THIS ROAD FOR ALL THE REST OF ETERNITY. THERE WAS NO END. (Of course their was no physical suffering, it was actually a very memorable experience, it was just a weird, tiring, mental experience/feeling. Something to talk about for a long time.) This was one of the many "Adventures" that Grandpa Ken takes his grandkids on ...
Phoenix, Arizona, United States saltsage_dave... our lives on hold to experience each other and the world in a way we had always thought might not be possible. We had an amazing time, and I wouldn't change any of it... the ups or the downs. I am glad we took as little as we did. Truthfully, it could have been even less and we would have been fine. I am also glad we stuck to not renting a car or staying in fancy hotels (not that we could have afforded it). The most memorable experiences were those in which we had to push ...
