      ... have sold their RV and plan to return to Thailand where they will setup a home-base for their continuing 'Goodrich Odyssey”. Their 8-year journey (so far) has been chronicled at their site http://www.travelpod.com/members/goodri chodyssey.

      This diversion of catching up with old friends away from home is now over and it is time to move on to our next destination in Southeastern Florida.

      ... nearby pier and looked around. Plenty of people around as well as animals to my surprise. Almost everywhere I looked I could see several different species of shore birds. Mostly pelicans, killdeer, and seagulls. We did happen to see an osprey perched on one of the building roofs on the pier itself.       ... 20 minutes from Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Needless to say we are in a great location.

      Mecca started a homeschool sports class this week and she starts French on the 27th. Naples has fantastic public libraries and makes it very easy to get a non-resident library card. We've already checked out a bunch of books and movies. I'm looking into volunteering and other things for myself.
