... had a cinema. My favourite part was the rooftop pool and jacuzzi-heaven!
My first impressions of Hong Kong were how well organised and modern it was, a world away from the likes of Bangkok. You could literally eat off the subway floor it was that clean. And the shops, OMG it was a shopper's paradise! The markets were so cheap, Links of London charms for 2 or 3 euros (not as good as my precious ones from the girls of course!). I ...
... for 99 years and many of its influences are still here. The official languages are Chinese and English, I only spoke Chinese twice throughout the whole trip. The city is extremely modern, with many foreigners living here. I bumped into several Brits who have been here since the 70's. After the museum I parted ways with the girls and headed to the symphony. It was an amazing show, they played Beethoven's 8th symphony. Here are some pics of Hong Kong.
... in to the cab and then tell the driver where I wanted to go. Seems no one wanted to take such a cheap fare as the train station was just five minutes away.
6:30 Checked in for my flight at the train station. Very cool, and some other cities could learn from HK. Incredibly efficient.
7:30 Back at the airport with time to spare

... Otherwise, they would have accompanied us as we went sightseeing. After all, getting around by public transportation is Sam Goo Jeung's area of expertise.
Our first stop was actually a cemetery, where we were going to pay our respects to Colin's grandfather. The cemetery was only a short bus ride from Chai Wan station. However, it is located in a hilly (practically mountainous) area and from a distance, it appeared to ...
... and only, really) purpose is to serve as an interchange for the Disneyland Resort Line.
Th e Disneyland Resort trains are essentially the same as the regular Tung Chung/Airport Express stock, except they have been refitted to reflect the destination they're serving. Cutesy windows in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head adorn the train's exterior, and inside, the ...
... and shopping, of course. Hong Kong’s market was not as extensive as ones I saw in Beijing but I think that is mostly due to pressure placed upon vendors in regards to counterfeit items.
Overall, Hong Kong was a good trip and one I would recommend to you all. There is also a Disneyland for the kids. I’m all about Mickey and friends but didn’t make it there.
Now off to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

... Hong Kong's most popular temples. Occupying a massive compound of almost five acres on the southern side of the Lion Rock in the north of Kowloon (Adjacent to MTR-Wong Tai Sin), the temple gained its enormous popularity thanks to its reputation for answering most of the devotees' sincere pleas... "What you request is what you get". The large temple started its way back in 1915 as a humble shrine ...

Macau, China freezystar... city that is Hong Kong. We walked down Tsim Sha Tsui (Nathan Road) to Tsim Sha Tsui promenade to Avenue of the Stars - a tribute to Chinese stars such as Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. There are plaques, hand prints of stars and sculptures. We then continued along the promenade admiring the panoramic views of the harbour and Hong Kong Island skyline to the clock tower (which was under construction). After spending time ...
Hong Kong, Hong Kong dlz... lack of public seating around, we noticed. We went to visit a Taoist temple with huge springs of incense hanging from racks all over the central area. The air was thick with the incense smoke, and that is saying something in a place and hot and humid as Hongkong. We walked down through various little streets, checking out markets, like on Graham Street and the Western Market around the whole central area. Late in the afternoon, we parted ...
