Today the rain stopped and we finally went to the Edison & Fords Winter Estates. I had been looking forward to this all week because I love visiting historic homes and gardens. ... which was a lot of fun. It was a very fun day being around other Sox fans. Funniest part of the day was as soon as we parked in the lot the scalpers were all over us asking if we wanted to buy or sell tickets. Our seats were only $10.00 each. Marty met a couple of guys in the bleachers with us that spent $60.00 each for the same seats from the scalpers. Yikes!
... they were bad for the animals there so we booked a boat ride with the park service. Met a nice couple from Canada while we were waiting & they were going to be on the boat along with another nice couple from Naples. we got to see our friends from glorietta/cave creek the first couple of days we were here. we went running with them, took them back to 10,000 islands portion of the everglades to see the birds, corkscrew swamp preserve, a small beach that was close to us and to tigertail lagoon and beach. and had two wonderful meals in goodland (near marco island). we also went to tin city, which was a ...

The Farmer's Market was very cute, and had a great variety of baked goods, fresh produce, beautiful flowers, and a couple of stands for food ready to enjoy. We picked up some fresh bagels and headed back to the condo for some lox and turkey liver.
