Charlotte, NC. It's still cold here, have not escaped it yet and surprise, there is no jetway. So just like so many times when she was little, I get to carry Katie down the steps. Met a wonderful girl on the flight who is from Charlotte and has a ...

I never forget, one time I didn't check the monitor because it had my next gate printed on my boarding ticket, big mistake! It was a long walk through several terminals, and I didn't have a lot of time to spare, when I finally got there, no one was there, checked the monitor and the gate had been changed, so stressful! ... with a host family and I will be able to take marine science courses while I am away as well as a cuisine class. I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months). Now I am being hit with the excitement and the fact that this is actually happening. Costa Rica here I come!
