On Wednesday the goal was to ride around 55km as this is about the daily distance next week. We started the morning by heading towards one of the parks in Manchester. ... day of driving today (Dan didn't realize how long) to Manchester, but we were able to see our last garden, Stourhead, less than an hour away. I hadn't heard of it or a lot of the gardens we visited until I read about them in the National Trust guidebook, but it is well known in England as a landscape garden designed around a large manmade lake in the 1700's.
