... house which was the house his daughter lived in. Yet another beautiful Tudor style home. After walking along the River Avon and getting some ice-cream we headed up North. We stopped in Stoke On Trent for lunch and went to some incredible gardens called Trentham gardens. Amazing views and they were even hosting a college graduation what was great to see. Weather fine with a late shower. Warm. Day trip to Liverpool Drove to Liverpool, only one hour away. Easy drive and good parking at the docks. Very impressed with the redevelopment of the Docks area. We visited The Beatles Story which was very well done and brought back lots of memories of the 1960's. Then visited the Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum. Both of these were well presented ...

The only fun part was watching an old woman use an escalator for what was clearly the first time. She kept nervously putting one foot on only to wildly panic as it started to drift away from the rest of her body. Fun times. Eventually a security guard picked her up and plonked her on.
