      Arrived safely after a great flight from Australia. Traveled business class with Singapore and get 10/10 for service and great food. Transferred to Lufthansa and again good service but beds not as comfortable. First day just wandered around Manchester and got our bearings. Busy place and very industrial.       ... but we wanted something nice for our last night as we are exhausted and needed to wash knickers. Manchester here we come. We made it to the Manchester City shop at the stadium by 4.30pm and John is now able to cross this one off his bucket list. Tomorrow he'll head for Manchester United Stadium for a tour.
