The Retreat Suite Wellington

my hostel, yet again.
Thursday, I will be picked up at 745 am and taken to Abel Tasman
National Park, yet again. I will be kayaking around Abel Tasman on a
course called "Royale With Cheese". I will be kayaking over see-through,
beautiful, green/blue waters and white/gold sand beaches.

* Civic Square was pretty, kinda made me wish I knew something, anything, about art.

* Mount Victoria was, well, a struggle. But not, apparently, for 85 year old men, who ran past us, puffing, on our way to the summit. Kiwi old men always have to do everything better. Wonderous 360 views took away some of the damaged pride.

We then went out to the Awaiti Garden and Teahouse a couple of kilometers outside of Carterton which was set on a beautiful farm in the country but we didn't end up touring the gardens as they were about to close. ... You could see the whole Upper Hutt valley. This particular park also had some more extensive trails and some nice swimming holes around the intersection of Akatarawa Road and Bridge Road. These caches were off Akatarawa Road which leads out to Staglands Park that sounds cool the check out. We also past a Blueberry & Emu Farm and some cute goats.
