      ... I have a passport, Japanese money, credit card, and glasses. The insurance claim was posted this morning and my to do list now consists of buying flip flops and a bikini, send an email about volunteering in Cambodia and buy my flights to Bhutan! I'm on it!! North Yorkshire is beautiful. It's one of my favourite places in the world and this visit I've been on some lovely walks up to Captain Cooks Monument and then Rosebury Topping.       • Today was a very relaxing day in Hartlepool. The entire day was ours to do as we pleased when we pleased. Eddie took us for a drive and we saw about 30 wind turbines standing in the ocean several hundred meters off the coast of Hartlepool. Rather a strange sight. Went for a walk around the marina and had a coffee at a lovely wee place called Bar 516.

      ... closer to 20 minute miles, 3 miles an hour. The views around were wonderful, a bit hazy but we could see Roseberry Topping for a long way behind us. The sun shone at times to brighten the landscape. It was perfect running conditions not too hot, no rain and great under foot. Down to Lord Stones I didn't try the ladies camping toilet but thought it was funny to read later that others struggled with flushing it. 25 miles done in 5 1/2 hours. Still on pace for a sub 13 hour run. ...

      ... before taking the 10.28 departure to Whitby arriving at 11.59. The latter journey, through the North Yorkshire Moors National Park on the Esk Valley Line, was very nice with snow topped hills and lovely moorland scenery to admire as we slowly made our way to the coast (the bit around Middlesbrough however is certainly not as attractive).
