... your route on the London subway - the tube - is working very well. Even I can figure out which train to take!
We headed next to the Tower of London where we did the unthinkable - we had lunch from a fast food fish and chips place! We should know better - it wasn't very good but we wanted to get into the lineup for tickets asap. The place was filled with tourists - I'd hate to see it at the height of tourit season...
At least my train ticket and 2 for 1 coupon ...
... get the same types from all over the world who come to Australia and refuse to assimilate into Australian culture, but the ironic thing is, the people who seem to have the biggest problem with foreigners acting foreign in Australia, are the people who come to London and put Australian flags in their window, spend all their time at the Australian pub, and discuss how they only hang out with other Australians and Kiwis.
I’m not having a go at Australians, nor these ...
... I've pretty much been cold every day. Its supposed to get hotter though through the summer. I hope! Joseph has been the motivational leader for our group and is operating in the leadership role along with our other two team leaders. He has been enjoying the meetings and the responsibilities and decision making role. He's born a leader! I have been having kind of a rough but good week. I am fighting getting sick so pray for my body (Dad, I can't stand the Airborne taste, sorry!). I have ...
London, England, United Kingdom jdmurrey... like JetA to get you going in the morning! And there are only two runways, both of which are fairly close to the terminal, so you can see the entire process, from pushback, to taxi, to takeoff. It is truly a plane spotters dream. (OK, I'm not a plane-spotter, really, but who doesn't like to watch jets take off?) Unfortunately, since HAM isn't that big of an airport (despite serving Germany's second largest city ...

... you in enough suspense) to hear that I have chosen not to attend LCTA. Even before they handed me the International Student Fee sheet (which is about double of what EU students pay), I realized that this probably would not be the best move at this point in my life, but for different reasons than I had expected. The only thing that really bothers me about England (and, well, most of the world outside of California) is that everyone here smokes ...
London, United Kingdom jhinchAfter 3 years in Chez Tom its time to say farewell to the house. I invited some chums round to help plough through my extensive drinks collection - most though were at other BBQ's/ on holiday! Great. Weather wise is ****** down with rain all day - if ever there was any reason to go to Australia - that was it.
London, United Kingdom tomhowkins... in 2 countries over 28 hours (changing time zones means an extra-long birthday). We will miss having her with us but we wish her luck as she journeys on. We thank you for your prayers and ask for your continued prayers as we navigate through the busy streets of London. We look forward to seeing you all soon so we can share our experiences with you personally. But until then, God bless. -Raymond Walters
