      Great day for a surf

      Today we had sunny skys. So we grabbed our scooters and headed to the surf.

      Dev and I went out on
      the 1st assult (I have a reoccuring bug that keeps hitting me every 7 -
      10 days. Low fever and stomach really frustrating.) so quite weak
      today.

      I paddled out past the break and almost woofed my cookies. Dev
      and I watched the large rollers go by. Some were quite large.

      ... and not that good...so we waited and grabbed a beer and some calamari from our local buddy at Froggies. Some tourists came and rented some board and went out...but one guy showed up with a bran new short board...went out for mins (never surfed before) came crashing in on 2 waves (into the reef along the beach and broke off his skegs and his day was done). Dev and I had to hang around ...

      ... yogini, who has all the Japanese students convinced she's a sorceress. Hamid, the Zen monk, who says three words and then smiles at us until we get from A to B, and laugh with him. Sunny, who is motivated to make us the best teachers we can possibly be. We're truly blessed by their range of knowledge and style.

      A TYPICAL DAY:
      05:00 - Wake, quick shower, dress for asana class, drink a glass of water.
      05:20 - Cycle to the yoga shala.
      05:30 - 07:30 - 2 hour ...

      ... and why I'm there. With much difficulty I manage to explain the situation and after several phone calls he seemed to have a plan. So I hopped on yet another moped, this time with wannabe singer who smoked whilst he drove which meant I got it all blown into my face. He took me back to harbour just as the boat arrived. As soon as I saw our bags he upped and left forgetting all promises of a lift to Candi Dasa and he didn't even help me with the two huge backpacks. Once again, an example ...

      ... and two desserts for around US $40. Insane!
      After dinner we decided to have some spa services. We each had a pedicure, hair creambath, Balinese massage and facial- all of this was around US $25, it costs more in the US for just one of these services! Crazy!
      After we were all relaxed Wayan picked us up and back to the villa we went for sleep.
      Day 5 should be great! ...
