    Our first stop was the Pura Taman Ayun temple near Mengwi. The shrines were set up in the 3rd courtyard and were surrounded by a channel of water on 3 sides. The shrines had 3, 5, 7, 9, or 11 tiers and were quite neat to see. Many of them were dedicated to the nearby mountains.
