    The flight was uneventful and we landed in a very hot Jakarta about three hours later . We waited in the passport line for a long time only to be told that we should have paid for the visa first. Ugh. So we got out of line, paid at the other counter and then got back in line again. We are staying with some friends that we met in Ecuador.     Finally saw the volcanic which was hidden the clouds yesterday. Took a quick 45-minutes flight (airport right across from Sheraton) back to Jakarta. There is really not much to say about Jakarta other than it's just another polluted, crowded metropolitan city. Boys stayed in for swimming while I went to few shopping malls nearby. Had dinner at local food court.

    I have done them all now, I found a spare power point so I am doing this blog now (copy and paste of course)

    They have a mosque on board and that sparks up every couple of hours (I think that’s what may have woke me up this morning)

    A few people have tried to talk to me, but their English aint up to it and as you can understand it makes for 'interesting conversations and a lot gets lost ...
