They came back on Saturday, and it was lovely to see them again.  Another lunch at a garden restaurant with Tom, Ricky, Shadow, Shu Meng, Toby, Greg and Rena was also lovely. Once Toby got hold of the lamb leg bone, he was a very happy chappy.Hopefully Tom will come to Shanghai soon and stay with us for a few days. There were a few ...

We are very relaxed at these meals now, and they are relaxed with us, knowing that we will dig in and look after ourselves. We explored upstairs today. Hello blog followers! Sorry for the delay. This is the Jingmen post and I am about to start on our next city, Wuhan. Thanks for reading!

After Beijing we spent five nights in Jingmen, Hubei province, where Jin grew up and her family still lives. We spent a lot of time enjoying home-cooked and local foods, and hanging out with all of her family members. Everyone was so friendly, warm, funny, welcoming, and ...
