Castle Weekend 1st Stop: Coventry
... they left it to be restored and built a new church perpendicular to it. Interestingly enough the Cathedral in Coventry is extremely similar to the Chapel at VU. Beneath the new Cathedral was also an old abbey that was funded by Lady Godiva (the woman who rode through town naked on horseback).
