Of course the wind did not co-operate and as soon as we were heading up the Delaware river it switched more west and was once again just out of sailing range. We were not going to get the speed we wanted and we realized we were not going to make it to our planned anchorage until close to 10 pm, so we looked for another place to stop instead.     We're back in our comfy house and back "on vacation" - cycling, swimming, golfing, fishing, eating etc when we're not just lazing around.
    Enjoying the warm, sunny weather, better than we expected for this time of year.

    Friday: George went out fishing, it was a nice warm calm day, only small fish caught but good fun. Barb went shopping and swimming.

    This morning, woke up at 7:00am and Legend was ready to go outside. Beautiful brisk morning. I have on pants and jacket. The sun feels good! Legend is getting used to going to the bathroom with cars buzzing by on the highway. Jess and I spent some time today at the outlet mall next to the hotel browsing.     ... walk to the nice, sandy beach that wraps around the Cape and we have bikes to cruise around in. Perfect.
    Today we cycled down to the lighthouse and went to one of the bird observation sites. This area has wetlands and vegetation that are enjoyed as a stop-off point by migratory birds.
