        ... seagulls who are waiting to attack you/steal your food, and after Cockatoo Island I have a newly developed hatred and fear of them. There's also loads of people trying to sell you nightclub deals and they are the pushiest people ever (one by his own admission) it's like Malia/Zante when they chase you down the road to go into their bars and pay for some rubbish drink deal - not fun! On a major plus though (for Nicole) you can have all you can eat pancakes here for £5. ...

        ... was sunny, perfect for the surfers in the water. Then we went further along the coast to a place called Belongil. This was everyone's favourite beach in Byron and we stayed for a while admiring the ocean front houses and the peacefulness of the beach with views towards the town and Cape Byron lighthouse. The afternoon was spent in Brunswick heads which was a bit weird a few kilometres up the Pacific highway. We found wverything had closed by 3pm but we did find a bakery for lunch ...

        ... near our drive and had backed into it! Dev really wasn't driving very fast at all, and the amount of damage was considerable; you would think it was a high speed collision. Hyundai's are clearly not able to take a lot of pressure, note to self.
