... have our ski boots fitted, so tomorrow morning when we are all fresh faced we can get straight onto the slopes to enjoy our first skiing lessons.

Mrs Taylor is looking forward to spending her day in a cafe of drinking copious amounts, non-alcoholic obviously....

The question is, will we all survive, how will Mrs Taylor cope without wine, and sharing a room with Mr Swain will Mr Maggs get a wink of sleep? Don't forget Miss Mullen, she is terrifying before 10 am!

... final hunt was on the 31st. The Atherstone hunt met at the kennels. This time I rode Ben, a bay cob. I was quite nervous as I hadn't jumped home before, and he was a bit more of a goer than George. But the first fence was a small friendly one and after that we were away. ... bothered to get a parking ticket because it was snowing and there wasn't any one else there. Friday January 30th - Sunday February 1st The car dealers must have found 10p down the back of the couch as they rang us up this morning, they know what's wrong with the car, how to fix it, and they reckon it will be ready for next Wednesday. Wednesday 14th: Weston to Trent Junction
Trent Junction is a large expanse of water that we've crossed several times, coming out of the River Soar to the Trent & Mersey Canal but it was the first time we stopped for the night. What a lovely setting!
It was exciting to finally arrive at the entrance to the River Trent, ready to venture into new territory in the morning.
