The Magnificent Mysore

Next stop, Mysore. The driver took us through the village area where we saw a huge gathering crowd outside the temple. It was probably a wedding or some sort of celebration going on. We crossed inside the village and saw silk worms inside the open woven basket type which was cool. So we all knew now where silk comes from. We also saw livestocks …

... Ooty was a good change of scenery and climate. As a hill station it was historically a place for the English to escape the extreme heat of India 2000m above sea level. We both find ...

This means you are less likely to get disturbed by people wanting to ...

... It was so nice to get out of the city (and away from the honking) and see some of the countryside. I just can't get over how lush the South part of India is. It is so green everywhere and every direction you look something else is being grown. We have seen bananas, papayas, tapioca, ginger, sugercane, tea, tumeric, and rice to name a few. Pretty amazing!

Our first stop in the jungle was at Agraharam Resorts ...
