      ... excess fire? Cuz that's right, folks, this week Marisa and I took the leap and got needled! We went to the local clinic with Yili this morning, and he diagnosed us just by looking at the tongue and feeling the pulse. And he was spot on! A few minutes later, we were laying in our cots, side by side, as he pop, pop, popped a few needles onto the qi meridians in my back. What a strange sensation that was, and it didn't hurt at all.
