We finished the day with some time at Shamu's Happy Harbour followed by a visit to Turtle Trek. The boys loved the ropes play area in the Harbour area and this gave mum and dad a well earned break! The Turtle Trek was great, again an experience ride which finishes with an awesome 4D short 7 minute movie.

We were recommended by one of the cast members to get to the park at opening time (9am), and head straight to the Kilimanjaro Safari. That’s when the animals will be eating. Blair and Amanda were on their way down and I'd agreed to meet them at the downtown bus station so I got Olga to take me to a bus stop near to her work. I realised that I didnt have any change so I asked and got given $2 by a black girl. She was really nice.

It was a Saturday and must be lazy day in Orlando because I waited over an hour for the bus. When it finally came, i used my newly acquired $2 and got to the station where Blair was on time picking ...

... turned up for a drive along in a NASCAR car, goodness they are are rough as guts. The noise when they started them up was like a shed full of tractors, they were horrible smelly things, I can only assume that NASCAR stands for Noisy and Smelly CAR, or Nasty and Stinky, or maybe just Naff and Stupid, either way alongside the Supercars they were just all of the above. I didn't realise that they didn't have doors, you have to get in and out ...

... intention of staying for dessert and cocktail but we were so full from our shared entree and meals that we couldn't eat another thing. We caught a cab back to our hotel then walked back across the road to the outlet shops for Paul to pick up a few gifts for family. When we finally made it home, we packed our cases (all 3!) and fell asleep. We have done so much shopping and have three very full, very heavy cases. We may have to post some stuff home from Miami- out next stop! Goodnight ...
