      The day started out great. I was driving and following Mike and we had to pull into a toll booth on the Kansas Turnpike. Immediately a guy behind me started beeping his horn.       ... to I-70 to Grand Junction, CO. Then it is US-50 all the way to Dodge City, KS. It is a little over 900 miles.
      We found a beautiful Federal campground on a reservoir lake for the first night .

      I left town into a massive headwind and it was super foggy and humid. I don't know how wind and fog can coexist. I'm still feeling really weak. I just wanted to make it into Kansas today. If it weren't for the wind, I would have had a pretty easy day. As I was riding up to Saint Francis, I saw the town slogan. "As good as it gets!" I hoped for the best and googled campsites in town.
