Well as it is still such lovely weather here at granny's, she decided to let me do some further exploring. While granny was busy unloading the shopping, she let me out the back door to nose arround like cat's do. There were plenty of birds fluttering arround, getting their last minute feed of the day from the many bird feeders that granny puts in places that I can't reach !! After a while ...

I gradually crept out of hiding...........Well I'm pleased to be home, plenty of birds to watch and rooms to run arround in, but I have been barred from Granny's bedroom, due to posh bedding, that she won't let me charge across, incase of pulling threads with my claws.Oh well, I can't help being a cat.

Brenda, who is very kind and friendly, looks after my every need, my own special feeding requirements and she even gives me cuddles, she nick named me Bubbaluba, which is really weird cos my Mum and Dad sometimes call me "Bubbalicious" So I like it here. Purr, purr.

The kids wanted a second breakfast by 6am, so we stopped at a roadside McDonalds. I can't remember the last time I darkened the door of a McDonalds, but given that it was the only thing open at that time in the morning, I had no choice. ... and change at manningtree - phew! Once we were on the ferry (stena Britannica) matt galantly upgraded us to the stena plus lounge, which is definitely paying for itself in free papers, beverages and, most importantly, comfy recliners and peace! So, we have settled in comfortably for our voyage :-)
