    ... the “Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo”. This was the first night of a week-long rodeo competition that included many professional rodeo contestants. The events included all of the traditional rodeo events plus the mutton busting event for the 8 and under kids, the wild cow milking contest and a daredevil motorcycle demonstration at the end of the night’s events. It was a great night of good family fun and competition.

    ... Turns out it is extremely easy to spot bison- they are bloody huge! Like big gentle giants, they had very cuddly looking fur and big dopey faces. Pretty amazing creatures to watch, and we saw plenty- mainly further away but quite a few up close too. We also spotted some antelope, large hares and a fox-type thing.
