... 333 ft above sea level ( 3.454km) Most of the journey on the trains had scenery to die for! A photographers paradise, thank goodness for digital cameras..wouldn't like to pay for 35mm processing! Our guide for the our was a real dag..he knew the journey by heart and though a little pushy and rushed...made us all get far more out of the trip than the passengers in the next carriage who slept most of the way. ... at it more reflectively when we return tomorrow morning for our trip to Venice. After we checked in we went downstairs as there was a Starbucks and we just wanted to get a quick sandwich and be on our way. That was my mistake. Basically, Switzerland is our favorite country thus far. Even though it is pricey, you get your money’s ...

... Lake Luzern, back to the town and another large lake nearby. We walked back to the station and took a joy ride on another cog railway to the town of Goldau. It did not look pedestrian friendly by the station so we stayed on the railway back to the top where we changed trains for our final descent to Vitznau, home for the night. We did eat a lunch of bread and cheese on the way back up to Rigi. The railway to Vitznau was pretty full so we went to the front ca r ...

Overall I am extremely glad we took this adventure. Sure at times it was hard. But there have been many more time where we have marveled at the beauty before our eyes. I have dearly missed my family and friends (I might be realizing that more now than before) but I would not have traded this experience for any other.

Angie, Kayley, Serena and Alex, I love you very much and thank you for every day we have had here. ...
