      ... Write them, stamp them and post them. It takes more time than you think, when you have to write 10 of them and make and post a package. Made good use of McDonalds free wifi, to write to the family, and a good excuse to have a soft serve ice-cream. Today was a chilled day, literally and non literally.       Bound for Milan, we left the campsite late morning after giving Larz a much needed wash to get rid of all the sap and leavy tree stuff that had covered him over our 5 days in Nice.

      ... led the Mardi Gras celebration in Lucerne every year.) It is weird, however, to see most of these shops now occupied by much more modern retailers such as Gucci, H&M, and even Foot Locker. Also weird, we’ve now been walking for a half hour and no chocolate shops! What is going on?! I was expecting every third corner to basically have a public chocolate fountain. I’ve been lied to!

      ... Lake Luzern, back to the town and another large lake nearby. We walked back to the station and took a joy ride on another cog railway to the town of Goldau. It did not look pedestrian friendly by the station so we stayed on the railway back to the top where we changed trains for our final descent to Vitznau, home for the night.       ... as much of Switzerland as I can until the 17th then take the train to Liechtenstein and stay there for this 3 day hiking trip. Then I want to head up to Berlin and go to the Blackbird Blackbird concert.
