Nice early twenties guy, Shaan, let us in, showed us around and gave us the best tip ever - forget cabs in this town, use Uber or Lyft. ... to see the city from afar. We then head back through The Streets Of San Francisco, to see Haight & Ashbury streets, which were famous for the hippy movements in the 60's. We head upto Twin Peaks for awesome views and then when the morning fog has cleared we go over the Golden Gate Bridge. We visit Sausalito, which is a gorgeous sleepy village opposite SF. We want to spend more time there and hope to come back on Saturday. Our guide takes us ...

      ... to the top!!!

I had my first taste of getting back into hostel life while I was in San Fran. I chose to stay at the same hostel I'd stayed in 3 years ago, as I knew what to expect. Clean, en-suite dorms, healthy breakfast of bagels, fruit and coffee included, a comfortable lounge to relax in, or a TV room to catch an evening movie. And good security needed for its downtown location. A good start for the places I will call home over the next 6 ...
