Today we headed to San Francisco to hire some bikes and explore the city. When we arrived we walked around the Fishermans Wharf which is right by the water front where Dock 39 is located with the famous Sea Lions on the floating landing stages. Afterwards we went to the bike company Rowan used to work for and hired some bikes. San Francisco is a very cyclist friendly city ...

However I did manage to buy a nice hoody there to combat the cold!! A tourist bus took us ...

... keep out fingers crossed for our tour tomorrow, where we will depart the city over it. We then took a meandering stroll back along the waterfront to Fisherman's wharf. Now that it was early afternoon, the crowds had gathered and it was bustling with tourists, street performers, jiggers, cyclists and locals out for a Saturday afternoon wander. Crowds lined the streets, emerging from restaurants with steaming bread bowls of creamy crab chowder - the local fish soup (no thanks!) ...

There will be pictures with this story shortly!!!!!

The flight was full and two small children behind us were learning how to drop their trays down and were kicking the back of my seat until they finally fell asleep. Dinner was fine and ...
