We passed the time chatting to another family and the boys messed about with their kids and before we knew it (an hour and a half later) we jumped on the tram and were on our way. The view was pretty much of the other tourists crammed onto the cable car! But it was fun being pulled up and down the undulating hills of San Francisco. ... Mecca to tourism. A few hours were spent at the Exploratorium, a hands on science museum. The girls loved it. Then we wandered down to see the sea lions lounging about on pontoons. Can I just say it is important to breathe through your mouth whilst spending time there! Dinner was at Bubba Gumps, a take on the Forrest Gump movie. ... interview with officers, this includes all crew and passengers regardless of whether they intend to get off the ship or not. Nobody goes ashore until everyone has completed the progress.
