"But wasn't it illegal to beat them up like that," the girls would ask. So - how different that part of their world is today from 40 plus years ago.

But then, so much hasn't changed. I stood on the steps of Brown Chapel and looked out into the George Washington Carver homes neighborhood that surrounded the church at the ...

This was not an easy task and she scurried out as quickly as she could.

In the afternoon, my cousin Frankie saddled up some of the horses and Alex got to go for a little ride. Then there was more swimming and even time to hold one of Uncle D's new baby ducks...a father's day gift from his daughters.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing visit and can't wait to go back again.
Prattville, Alabama, United States hollyesparza... Oreo cookie and cream cheese balls dipped in chocolate...decadence. While Jackie was cooking, we walked down to the barn so Alex could help feed the horses. Tori & Bella were very intrigued with these new creatures and weren't quite sure how to approach them. It was a funny site.

Prattville, Alabama, United States hollyesparza... down the road at a high speed of 40mph(only when not sliding) we had people and big rigs passing us. There was this one big rig- a blue Werner- that blew passed us, as nervious as we were we just could not believe that people did not slow down on all that snow and ice. Well never the less we saw that Werner truck a few miles down the road going up a hill jackknifed!!! Go ahead and ...

The flight is so long, including the stop over in Amsterdam and the 7-hour time change, I arrive in Kuwait 23 hours after I left NY. As we approach for landing I have my face glued to the window looking for signs of civilization ...

Of course there are only two x-ray machines here (fortunately they were both operating) and eventually we did get through to do our immigration which went nice and smoothly and we were through into the terminal. One of the new advantages ...
