First day here stinking hot . Nice hotel by the beach . Couldn't get a pint last night cos it's a full moon ! So they don't serve any mad eh,!, just stuffed myself at breakfast so I can last out till my next curry. Just gonna chill by the pool all day ...

... a toasted sandwich. It was far too much food and they kept bringing more! We would later find out that this is pretty common and you just pay for what you eat. We got stuck in to the roti, dhal and Sambol and it was really tasty. The toasted sandwich wasn't bad either, it had a mixture of spicy onions inside. It began at midnight and was a relentless night of constant toilet trips and painful cramps, yep my second bout of sickness had kicked in and no medication helped it.
