The best place we've ever stayed

This was absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Our room wasn't anything extradinary. The hotel service is what puts this hotel at the top of the map.The service here was A+. We went to Hawaii to get married and the Pacific Beach helped to maker our trip a memorable one. I strongly recommend this hotel. Its in a great location. Within walking distance of a lot of different places.

We'll definately return to the Pacific Beach Hotel

We stayed in the Pacific Beach Hotel for our honeymoon from March 3 - 13. We absolutely loved this place. When first entering our room we maybe questionned a little bit on how much we were paying to stay there, but after 1 day, we didn't second-think our choice. First of, the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel is located almost at the end of the Waikiki Strip so wasn't too busy. If you want to be in with all the people, you can walk 3 minutes to the International Market Place. The hotel is right across the street from the ocean, so it isn't a nuissance to drag things a few blocks from the beach. The staff was excellent - we have no complaints. The maids even came to our room like 2 or 3 times a day to change towels or to turn the bed, that sort of thing. The restaurant was really nice - but extremely pricy. We only ate there once. The pool was small, but there was lots of room to tan. All in all, we highly recommed this place. Like I said, I don't think I have any complaints. If we return, it will most likely be to this location again. Enjoy!!

    Clean with a great location.

We stayed here for 12 nights in Oct 2002. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is well maintained. We had a room overlooking Diamond Head and the view of Waikiki and the surfers was great. We took the breakfast option and had the buffet breakfast every day. It's pricey, but there is a good selection and the food was good. Parking is pricey at $9.00 a day. The pool area could use an overhaul as it is just not inviting. We have stayed at other places in Waikiki and so far, we like this the best and would stay here again. I had my boogie board shipped ahead of us via SportsExpress and the hotel took care of receiving it and getting it on the FedEx truck after we left. Very good service. I liked the fact that I could walk out the front door of the hotel with my board, and jump in the ocean. It doesn't get much better than this.

    The heavenly end of Waikiki

We loved our room (ocean view, spacious), breakfasted with the fish in the 3-story aquarium (Oceanarium) every day. Walked to the beach, the park, the zoo, the Aquarium. Bought art on Sunday at the park. Wonderful experience. We are returning with the whole family soon.

Happy and Comforable at the Pacific Beach

Husband and I just stayed here Dec. 22-29, 2002. This is our second visit to Hawaii, went to Oahu and Maui first time. This time we again went to Oahu and Kauai. Pacific Beach was all it said it was in brochure. Very clean rooms, three great restaurants, attentive and courteous staff. We asked for extra towels and iron and ironing board. No problem! Very convenient location directly across from the beach with no builidings blocking the ocean view. Would recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again!!

The greatest place that i have ever been

This place provides everything that you would want!! When you usually come to hawaii you are suspecting dulled manner people and here at the Pacific Beach Hotel it is the total opposite! The people there were amazing! I loved it so miuch that next week! I am going back again! Pacific Beach Hotel offers you everyting like fitness centers, salon and spa, tennis courts, pool and jazuzzii, and much more!! I give this a 10000000 out of 10!! Thank you so much for you support Pacific Beach!!

    Great location, decent price

This was our second trip to the island of Oahu, and our first time staying at The Pacific Beach Hotel. The location is great: right accross the street from the beach, and a very short drive to the H1. Very convenient. The room we stayed in was an 'Ocean View' room in the Beach Tower. It was a decent sized room, and a full lanai, and a nice view of the beach. Not the greatest accommodations compared to other places we've stayed in Oahu (Turtle Bay, Ihilani Marriot), but we were still pleased.

    Great location

We stayed at Pacific Beach Hotel on our first visit to

Hawaii. We were very impressed with the location and our room was comfortable. We had a great view. We had a oceanarium room confirmed but we were given a beach tower room, so we didnt ask questions, just enjoyed our good luck!!!!

    Wasn't impressed

The hotel was mediocre. I was not impressed, especially with the staff. Even the hotel manager did not call me back after I had tried to get in touch about my lost luggage. If you are looking for friendly staff and good customer service, this is definitely not the place. I visit Hawaii yearly and sadly, this hotel rates last on my list.

    Highly recommendable - good location

The rooms are great - really spacious and we had an excellent view of the ocean and diamond head. The pool area is not very exciting but again it is spacious with plenty of loungers available - could do with some palms or planters to liven it up. The beach is just across the street and the hotel is well located for all of Waikiki. The coffee shop serves a great Kona coffee and muffin for breakfast with a view of the ocean across the street. The oceanarium in the restaurant is not to be missed, especially at feeding time and it is worth having breakfast at least once to experience this. We would definitely stay there again.

Day 1 Welcome to mine and Ted's latest adventure as we return to the United States and explore the Caribbean. This will be our first cruise together as well as visiting some new destinations. Since we both had to work today first, we both woke up at some hideous hour (starting with a 4 or 5). Since Ted left first, I made sure I locked up the house …

Monday was our day to see Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. We again used the tour group "E Noa Tours". Our guide was better than the first day. We had the 10:15 time slot for the tour. After arriving at The Pearl Harbor Memorial, we watched a movie that used newsreel film showing what lead up to the attack (oil embargo) and the resulting war …

Saturday was a very quiet day. Nothing much to do until our flight to Honolulu. But I had taken some random pictures around Cynthia's property and the driveway to her house. There are some unusual plants that you will see. Also, I went to the "Hawaiian Native Church" It's name is Kaulanapueo Church. "Pueo" means owl, but I don't know what the first …
