Rushing around London for One Last Day

A travel blog entry by anlnewby on Sep 23, 2015

Today was our last day in London and boy did we want to get a lot done! Our first stop was the Tower of London. We got there just before they opened at 9am. As we were there from the beginning we got to see the guards opening the palace. We walked around by ourselves for an hour, where we saw the ridiculously over-the-top Crown Jewels and the White tower. We then joined a guided tour with a Yoman Wanderer (Beefeater). Although the group was really big, the guard had a loud ...

The day was concluded at St. Paul's Cathedral, which includes 341 spiral steps, which we climbed. Sheila even possess a pin signifying the fact. This is another enormous building, for which pictures are not allowed. We took one outside (yes, that is allowed) near the top looking down on a portion of the ...

With that saga behind us, without any need for me to bruise my knuckles, we headed off to London. We caught the tube to Green Park Station and walked through the park to Buckingham Palace. This time, instead of camping on the fence to see the Changing of the Guard, we took up a great position on the Queen Victoria Monument. ...

          ... City

Not every apartment hotel in central London costs a fortune. You won't have to spend a hefty travel expense on lodging, if you don’t wish to. You are just 1 step away from the right lodging. Hunt for secret London accommodation, which might help you save up to 40 percent on 4 or 5 star hotels in and around Central London. They will certainly have you on a comfortable and promising vacation. You can also search for 1 or 2 star hotels, bed ...

... trying, and having done that can happily say I doubt I'll do it again. Although it was passable as a tourist type venue it didn't float my boat. Chantelle thought it may just be the London one, but I would still look elsewhere when out of town. Then, on to the show. I hadn't seen the film, so apart from those songs the were on ...
