    First, we walk to Waterloo Station to scout out Helen's commute to the conference at the University of Roehampton. The walk is an alternative to two short tube trips and a longish underground walk, between stations. Waterloo station is an enormous, bustling C19th century building.     Our morning started off a little rough with the alarm not going off, then once we arrived at the train station Tommy's card had an error. We then found out what we thought was unlimited train access actually wasn't.
