      Today was our last day in London and the last day of our trip. After a bit of a sleep in we decided to take advantage of the free river cruise we got with our hop on hop of bus tour. We got on at the London Eye and then travelled along the Thames to Tower of London. It was nice to see London from a different perspective and we got plenty of good photos as well.       ... day intending to see St Paul's Cathedral. We didn't get very far before we ran into roadblocks and people all dressed up. We had found ourselves at the start of the Lord Mayor's Show. We stayed for most of the parade, 170 or so groups/floats (whatever you call them). When it was finally over, we decided against trying to get to St Paul's, as the parade was still going between us and the Cathedral.

      Today we have a late start. Our drive to Tower Bridge has taken us just over an hour and we find a parking spot very close to the bridge which is a bonus. The meter displays a sign saying nothing to pay on Sundays - double bonus! The slightly chilly start did not last long either - it's another gorgeous sunny day - triple bonus!
