... my alarm has just gone off...giving me an hour till I need to get up and therefore an hour to decide what the **** I am going to do.

I love it here. Infact I could live here forever. It's magic. A farm in the middle of nowhere, literally it's 29km from civilisation, which is set in the most beautiful setting ever, and has horses and motor bikes which I can scoot about on. The house is pretty stunning too. So why am I considering leaving...?! I know the answer to ...

Perth, Western Australia, Australia shakyck... terminal of Perth, as previously I have flown out of Darwin and Sydney, so it was interesting to see the facilities. The 20 minute bus trip took us through a back way between the terminals which skirted around the southern end of the runway. Be warned, keep your boarding pass from your flight as the gruffy bus driver will ask to see it.

We had 7 ...
Perth, Western Australia, Australia theresa_debiasi... stroke, a wombat. Another interesting creature, almost as interesting as the keeper holding it, and one that made the koalas seem positively ADHD.
A long drive from here to the Namburg National Park, with firstly a stop at a road house/petrol station with interesting toilet signs, and then a lunch stop. At least, lunch for those who had booked it. We hadn't, and had not been made aware that there would not be the opportunity to ...
Perth, Western Australia, Australia ironinkent... also meant that we didn't have to take wood home. After we ran out of wood and went to bed, the rain started again and continued for most of the night. Today we woke to sunshine which was great to dry out the awning. Then we had rain most of the way home. After unpacking the van we are feeling rather weary tonight. Tomorrow we will continue planning for our Canada/Alaska trip on the 8th August. Hopefully I'll be able to continue my travel blogs over there. Until then Rob & Carol

Most sensible people headed home around 6, but a few hardcore managed to drag it out to a 4am finish, drinking Kiwi vodka and sambuca shots in Adams house.

The god of binge drinking was smiling on us though, and we felt fine (despite huge amounts of booze and no sleep) the next day, heading home for a quick nap, then a shower, and off to see Matt's swanky pad. House was GORGEOUS. Matt had nicely ...

Recently I was advised that my application was successful and I'd need to get a medical done. It's a one year construction position on a brand new iron ore mine 100km south-west of Karratha. Here's the company website for all the details:- http://www.citicpacificmining.com/ I'll be working 4 weeks onsite and then fly back to Perth for 1 ...

This is a 128 kls. stretch of road of nothing to see except scrub and that is sparce at time. We drove into Denham just for a break from the monotony. We finally arrived at the Monkey Mia Resort and were greeted by emus and we will be here for two nights. Monkey Mia is approximately 800 kls. NW of Perth. Day 44 March 26th (Thursday) We had to get up bright and early if we wanted to see the feeding of ...
Perth, Western Australia, Australia ewtodd... Ret fascinerende. Vi spiste frokost på plænen med en dejlig udsigt over Swan River og Perth-by. Et par timer senere m ...
perth, Australia stikat... for Rocksand who basically lead the kitchen and who appeared out of pure luck, I wouldn't have had a clue how to cook in those quantities and with all those spices I've never heard of, since the whole thing was vegan. Well I'm really glad it all worked out and I again don't believe it was all a very fitting coincidence. No I ...
