... For those who are curious, I started this blog for family members and really, anyone else who wants to keep up with me while I go on this European adventure. I hope y'all enjoy reading it and I am sorry in advance if it is somewhat lacking. I will try to update as often as I can but I am kind of a noob at all of this blogging. Wish me luck!

Cheers, tea and crumpets, bits 'n bobs, and all of that poppycock

... buses so we had to knock it on the head because it would have been too expensive for us to get a taxi there, so I found another ranch in Houston which we are getting the bus to, will be better for us (less expensive anyways) Back to the hotel for around 10pm, back to being old fogeys but we had an early rise and the only other thing left to do on the river walk was either fall in or drink more alcohol! :) The time is flying by! 5 cities down, 4 to go! ... in Italy just didn't make sense. You are required to take a course in the language of the country, and Italian- while beautiful -is of no use to me. I did, however, need to learn French. I had already bought the Rosetta Stone after all, and what better way to learn a language than full immersion for a few months?

Within one fall afternoon, I had decided to be an au pair in France and had already applied to about 20 different families. ...
