Out for a day today to Mississippi's Hill Country. We stop by the ruins of an old Juke Joint and enjoy the most amazing Southern lunch plate at Annie's and a bit of town sightseeing in Holly Springs. This part of Mississippi looks very different and indeed hilly.

... like a very long week, Linden and I headed back to nashville! I was so excited to get back! and Linden had invited me to come and stay with her family for a few days before they went on their family holiday (or vacation, as the americans say)! so I took her up on her offer, and sooo glad that I did!
So back to Nashville AGAIN! and sooo excited! that place just wont let me leave, and as Linden says, I have the Nashville desease! .................
... a dive (it's called rustic), service is inattentive, dinnerware is just one step above Wendy's, and the food is mediocre at best. How that equates to "the best catfish place in the world" is beyond me. And so I have to conclude this is an example of The Emperor's New Clothes. ... so hopefully we can actually "do it all". And by "all", I mean doing at least one ghost tour, seeing the castle, taste different local ales, watch a rugby game in a pub and cheer alongside Scottish people, buy and proudly wear a kilt (You know you've always wanted to see me in a man-dress, admit it), go to St. Andrews golf course where golf was invented, maybe go to Glasgow and do what one would do when in Glasgow, see a few cathedrals, ...
