One word to start today's blog, SUNSHINE :) At last we are looking at a slightly warmer, sunny day. Dave is even in short sleeves... This is the 2nd day of using our London Pass, so have headed off firstly, to St Paul's Cathedral, (which is now not included!! ) It was quite busy with plenty of people about, but we didn't have to queue. Grabbed our headphones and away we went. Like Westminster Abbey yesterday St Paul's is steeped in a massive amount of history ...

Our day started with figuring out the Barclay Bikes that London has scattered around the city. We rode from our hotel in Westminster, down to Chelsea, back to Westminster, to Trafalgar Square, to the river, back to Trafalgar Square (by accident, the roads are very confusing and it's easy to lose your bearings with all the turns while trying to watch the traffic) and to Buckingham Palace. ... of course from being crammed with parked cars. Now these terrace houses sell for GBP350,000. I  guess you couldn't actually knockdown one of these houses even if you wanted to, as it would look so out of place in the usual continuous terrace streetscape. It is so noticeable in the UK that just about all new residential developments are designed to look like the surrounding properties. I don't know whether such uniformity is pleasing or ...
