... to go across the canal to a cafe set up on a moored canal boat. We hadn't realised that many people live on canal boats and have permanent moorings along the canals. There is not a lot of room inside and they store extra things like bicycles and prams on top with lots of pot plants. About 12.10 Jasons boat arrived and all persons with a reservation ( that's us ) move to the front of the line. Hence we scored a nice place near the front. Half ...

I  guess you couldn't actually knockdown one of these houses even if you wanted to, as it would look so out of place in the usual continuous terrace streetscape.
