    August 11 - Sightseeing in London. A full day was planned with tickets pre-booked at Buckingham Palace for 10:30am and London Eye at 8:30pm. Yikes that’s a long day even for me! Note: over 60’s and students get concession prices at both places so all three of us got in at a reduced rate!

    We awoke and sorted through the main emails, and as out hotel booking did not include breakfast walked over the road to the Kings Cross Station for breakfast. There are a large number of places there where you can get a good breakfast. We went to one called Giraffe, which is a chain over here, and bother ordered porridge with banana and strawberries and cappuccinos. This was ok and the fruit really added to the porridge.
