... way over to the Brighton Pier to meet Noel's friends George and Ricky at 12.00pm. They were lovely. We spent the whole day with them right up until we got back tonight. They showed us the two parts of the town, Brighton on one side which is the busy touristy side and also the side where all the gay pubs and clubs are, and Hove on the other side which is a bit more upmarket and more suburb like. I really liked both halves but I especially liked the gay district which had lots ...

... on to our shuttle bus to the hotel to realise that the rather sizeable driver was shamelessly sat with his trousers down, revealing way more than necessary and his hands no where to be seen. Thought we'd be at least a day into our trip before we witnessed our first odd sight! But no, the chap just asked how many tickets and pulled up his trousers as if this was just a standard part of his daily routine. Who knows... Maybe it is :/ ...Moving swiftly ...

      The Beginning

... system without getting on any wrong trains! We had to change trains 3 times and as there aren't elevators in the train stations, had to carry our luggage up and down lots of big staircases! We finally arrived at our accommodation in Whitechapel, not far from the city centre. Our room is small and basic but has everything we need and we are really happy to be here! Looking forward to hitting the town ...
