... narrowest road ever and we were looking for somewhere to spend the night. A quick google and site found, right on the end of the peninsula, on the beach. We finally rocked up and as we approached could see that it was a special location. Well worth the to'ing and fro'ing. "A pitch for the night please?" "Sorry we don't take dogs!" Again, bugger!

... completed this coast path, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. It's not only scenic but peppered with historical interest as well. On the whole it has been very well signposted though I would recommend carrying a map for reference. It mainly follows the coast but there are some deviations in places. After some winding, the path is back on the cliffs with sheer drops below. We are still climbing as we make our way from the base of the mighty Foel Hendre to Pwllygranant. Apparently large sections of the path here were damaged in the storms of 1993 - it all looks fine again now although there is evidence of damage and in places the path is very soft underfoot. Probably a good thing as I am back ...

It's an early start this morning as I have been walking further and further away from our campsite at St David's. We should have moved the trailer a couple of days ago but couldn't be bothered. We are still the only people on our campsite so it's a peaceful setting although the wildlife was particularly loud last night with great howling sounds at 3am. The night before, we had some nocturnal visitors too. I heard a noise outside - it sounded like scuffling underneath the tent skirts. ...

... Ian want to join us? Not likely! We head off on the steep slog up to the top - not as bad as expected - whilst Ian heads off to the car park at the other side of Dinas Head. We reach the trig point and the views in both directions are fantastic, just a pity that the sun decides to hide behind clouds as we reach the top making it somewhat hazy. We see the ferry making its way into Goodwick and the cliffs behind it stretching all the way back on the path we walked ...
