We had a leisurely 15 km walk today. Conditions were cloudy to begin with but brightened over the morning as the cloud broke up into beautiful balls of cotton. We started with a climb up Round Hill, the penultimate C2C climb. Once we reached the summit we again had beautiful views across to the east and back at yesterday's path over the 3 hills. It got to 8 degrees by the time we got to Bristol at 10.30 & the Brits were out in their singlet tops & shorts already. I was still in my coat although by late afternoon the temperature had climbed to the dizzying high of 12 degrees, summer is on ...

... the non-religious I think it is an experience to behold and one I won't ever forget. It was 18:00, by the time Evensong was over and I decided to head to one of Al's recommended pubs for dinner. His recommendation was perfect! The pub is called House Of The Trembling Madness and is upstairs above a bottle store. It is a small pub that has a maximum capacity of 50 people. The food was ...
