As of today, not much much other than the usual. I have a new client, Halfords, so that's why I'm in Birmingham travelling home each weekend. However, the plan is that from around May next year, we go off driving around the European land mass visiting hot countries when it's cooler there and colder countries when it's hotter. We are spending the next few months planning so there's not much detail to be seen here yet. Watch this ...

... wooded gully took us to the "most intense ride" the Nemesis - a total scream-fest for me. This was followed by "Air" where you hang face down from your seat, and finally the surprisingly violent 'RipSaw'.
We headed home, fairly exhausted, having had a great day. After a light dinner, and a dose of Whisky and Ginger liqueur (and not just for me), we watched some of the Wimbledon final, recorded from earlier and went to bed.

Our B&B was the only hotel we stayed in. It was on a busy corner and the room was only just big enough to “swing a cat”; however, the breakfast was excellent and service pleasant. It was conveniently located near the river walkway and a short distance to the town center. One morning we spotted a small yellow boat adrift in the river. ...

As I drove into town, I was delighted to see that the sun was shining and it was 12C...probably the warmest I had seen it since I had been here.
