We have said our goodbyes and we are now on our way to the airport! We've booked the lounge at Heathrow so we should be able to sit and relax before the long journey! We are starting to get excited- it all feels a bit surreal though at the moment- maybe it'll feel a bit more real when we are the ...

We even got to speak the Queen and Prince Albert in person as we wandered through the rooms. They seemed to be confused as to how many children they had. They said they had 8, but the information said they had 9...... maybe they hadn't had number 9 yet - will give them the benefit of the doubt!

... ll be leaving the UK and heading over to Cherbourg (which is a bit of a disappointing place for your first foreign stop but hey ho) and from there along the coast of France until we hit Spain, Portugal and finally we'll round the corner into the Med and hunker down for another winter.

Mister Kitty and I are torn between feeling excited and intimidated by what we're about to do. We've put ...
