... how different it was after having such a great and easy experience in previous hostels when it came to meeting people. Maybe I spoke too soon when I said how easy I was finding it. ... at one point, my body left for possums....see photo for size of this monster. Anyway I survived and felt great for it! Got an early night and had a few different sets of friends staying in another hostel so major FOMO but had a big day ahead of me! AUSTRALIA ZOO! Had to get an 1hr 45min greyhound bus but was totally worth it! Crikey, it's home of Steve Irwin for bloomin sake! Woke up a few times through the night but slept a great deal better than the last time we travelled overnight! Think it was to do with the seats? We picked the back two and had a little extra leg room and no one behind us so we could recline the whole way, it made it a little easier to fall asleep. Our Grasshoppers tour to Nimbin started with a visit to the hippie market. With an array of things for sale such as colourful clothes, chopping boards to organic foods. We cooled down with a strawberry and mango homemade icepole with the sounds of a live country band playing in the background.
