... Anyway, when we finally got checked in at the airport, we headed to security. If you thought that the airport would be calm and the line for security check short at 10 pm on a Tuesday, you'd be wrong!! We have never seen such a looong line for anything outside of Disneyland. For whatev er reason, this time there was no shortcut for handicapped passengers. As you probably would've guessed, TSA finds Joe highly suspect and always gives him a very thorough ...

... this thought that I should turn on a light, but why, I know my way around the bed. Well, I was wrong! There is an old wooden sea chest at the end of the bed. It is full of Phil’s ‘treasures’ and it is so heavy we have to carefully slide it – yeah, the one that made the gouges in the floor. Well I hit it full force, losing my balance and falling into it with my upper legs before rolling off and hitting the floor with my wrist ...

We collected my luggage and out the door to our ride-and as we approached a van was ready to leave and I waved to them, he waited and turned out that was the van we needed to be on. Shortly home and the house was cool and comfortable and we began to unpack. Piles of mail to go through, but not tonight. We were hungry so headed out to the Chinese place. ...

... excellent tasting. Even better than the stew I think! Back home for a while and then to Italia for a drink – very few people tonight but nice. Home to talk and admire the pumpkin from the library last night.

Next morning-about 4 am---I was up and noticed the pumpkin had done a Humpty Dumpty. He was on the floor in a mass of pumpkin pieces and about a cup of pumpkin liquid surrounding him! I delivered him, piece by piece, to the sink, cleaned up the watery mess and went back to bed!

... no valve stem, and I did mention that it had one yesterday. I told him to just go on home and I would take care of the bike and I walked into the house and could hear him yelling at me. After he left I opened the car trunk and put the bike into it. He came across the street and I told him I didn’t need any help. He was not offering any! He threw my keys into the trunk and I started to talk to him when he ran out into the street and very loudly screamed ...
