Brochure tells the falls were featured in the Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn.We walked through the woods a short distance to reach the new Sea to Sky gondola, just open this month. Friday 6th Febuary Waitangi day
Had a wonderful night at David Toni and Coopers
we caught the bus half way then a lovely walk through the snow and trees to their house had a hot tub dip John tried the steam room ( tiled small room full of steam at 100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Toni had prepared an amazing fondue dinner helped Cooper with his jig saw puzzle ...

... rain in a very long time. We got about 160mm in the space of 24hours or something ridiculous! There was some storms coming through and causing chaos with the winds and rain. On the Tuessday just before Ro got here, they closed the mountain at noon due to the wind on the mountain clocking in at 100-170km per hour winds. That caused a lot of issues with the gondolas etc. On the drive back we had numerous changes to the road including a small landslide and flooding as the water came ...

The rain last night was very heavy, even when it let up the rain from the trees above dripped insistently on the roof. We can't complain really, we have had such wonderful weather our whole time in Canada especially given the time of year. The rain let up a little in the morning but continued in earnest late morning. There were patches without today but for the most part it was wet.
