... the side of the sheer cliffs. Have to confess that I got motion sickness on the ride up! It wasn't a windy day and the ride was really smooth. It was such a quick climb and a high climb that my ears popped! I was seedy at the top after my backwards ride up! Made sure I was facing the way we were heading on the ride back down! At the Summit Plaza the views from the deck were breathtaking - we had a few great photo shoots here. The deck connected to the Sky Pilot ...

... lost his front wheel due to the slippery conditions and slid into a tree head first. He had just come through but I talked to a fellow competitor after the race who was right behind him and he said it was very sickening to see. Hopefully he will be okay but not a nice way to finish. After that the next part of decent was quite somber and people were patient as we had a lot of steep twisting boardwalk which really needed chicken wire over it to help with grip. You had to not brake ...

... 10am. Meanwhile Tia and I got up early on our day off to come and say goodbye. So we were at the bus stop when I got a message at 9.45am from Joe telling me he just woke up. These kids I tell you. Useless. So we all met up for breakfast as our final meal then we had the farewells. I'm definitely getting over saying goodbye. That the is worst part about meeting these amazing people! I'll miss those boys but I'd never tell them that! So now I just have to find myself some more bros ...
