... whilst Nick and I hired bikes and headed off for a 25 mile bike ride it was stunning and we even managed to bump in to a pack of very unfriendly dogs I am trying to let the dogs know that I am in charge to no avail as they are baring their teeth so we hop on our bikes and try to escape them. ... the room and one young guy refused to wear the jacket claiming he worked in those conditions all of the time and did not feel the cold. We, on the other hand, certainly felt it. I know why vodka is taken as a shot now - the glass is so cold you just can't bare to hold it! The room was small. The walls of ice doubled as a sculpted bar display for all the different vodkas. ... of ink. So Megs got some as well. When in Rome right!? Another lazy night in before we got up early the next morning to head to Vancouver Island. We got the ferry into Nanaimo before driving south through Cowichan Bay down to Victoria. We drove from Victoria to Port Renfrew that afternoon. As I had plans with the boys to go camping, I was organising where we were going but driving out towards Port Renfrew I couldn't get service. ... direction couldnt find it so went to grocery shop yes they knew send us of with directions same thing always arrived at pizza restaurant so in desperation asked them. Hadn't been there for years , good sales people stayed for great pizza and amazing anitipasta
