... if you were wondering. Listen to them. I dare you. They are amazing. We made a few simple plans from there and left to get some food. We went to the grocery store and picked up some picnic food and headed to this spot Evan loves in Mill Bay. We sat there for a while eating our food. ... While smoke billowed out from under the car. Kevin did some creative driving for the next 15 miles into Whistler. As you imagine the hills are up and down and up and down so he let the RV roll when possible and changed gears down a few times to slow us down. We limped into Riverside Resort at 6.15 ........ ... Falls Creek seem so very very tiny all though with the number of Aussies here we could be in Australia. After a thunderstorm the previous evening (we just make it back to our condo in time) Friday dawns somewhat cloudy. ... and stages, and explored the twin resorts of Whistler and Blackcomb before heading off for a walk in the Lost Lake area which is the main cross country skiing zone during Winter. Saw fresh bear droppings, though the only live bear we saw was from the bus later in the day. It was all lovely and very picturesque with the snow covered mountains as the backdrop everywhere you looked.

... lots of people crashing out! We arrived at the bottom of the mountain where there was a live concert taking place as part of the World Ski & Snowboard Festival. A few days later was the big party. This was for the whole of Whistler Kids and we had exclusive use of Merlin’s Bar. The theme was ‘Whistler Kids Stampede’ so everyone dressed as cowboys!
