... Fun. The water was high though and we didn't feel safe getting down on the lower level as waves were sending water there. I don't know if Lake Michigan has rogue waves? About the time we were done it started dripping a few drops of rain. By the time we got to the car the rain was coming down fairly hard. It really couldn't have been better timing. We ended up shopping and spent so much they let us walk through the poster museum no charge. It was more interesting than I expected and it was nice to learn about the five Ringling Brothers and ...

We headed north and went first to see Man Mound. These remnants of an ancient people always intrigue me. This was a large mound, but difficult to really see. I don't know how people ever saw them to know they were there.

Then on to the International Crane Foundation. Wow, and wow. This was so impressive to me. They do such important work in trying to save these graceful and endangered birds. We'd missed ...
