... not sure why these small towns exist. We are here because they have a motel - admittedly it is not in the town, if you can call it a town centre. However next to the motel there is a Yankee Candle - it is huge - a candle, Christmas, homeware store - they give you a map to find your way around. We worked hard - nowhere to hide in a small group of 3. Our final session was on the Battenkill River - the spiritual home of New England fly fishing. The weather was not kind - very wet and misty. None of us caught any fish but a good time was had by all. And yes, I did "get it"!

We always knew Vermont was a beautiful state, but these past few weeks has confirmed it even more.
