... although we did go to the botanical gardens and see some of the biggest trees I've ever seen, absolute beasts. Was a lovely garden and enjoyed our stroll around it.

... is automated apart from the initial feeding of the tea plant stems into the conveyor belt, and this was done by a women using a bucket. I did end up buying some tea, as at the end of the day tea is such a minimally processed product with absolutely no additives that I enjoy feeling like I'm having something quite natural ( in contrast to many other types of food and drink where it is hard to imagine the plant or animal-based origins). It was a chilly morning when i started off from mysore where we had stayed on the night of Thursday, It all began with a fresh morning roadside tea to warm up my journey.. after fueling at nanjangud we headed straight towards gundalpet for over early morning breakfast and to enter the Bandipur national park in the morning for our lucky wildlife sightings..
