... by the canal. Further up the canal we watched narrow baots coming through the Wharton lock and picked blackberries while we waited.
We visited Tattenhall market for some homemade goodies and stopped on the way home for creak tea at Tarporley! Great day.

... to get a couple of rooms at a Bed n Breakfast down the road called "Sarah and Ronnie's". Sarah and Ronnie were VERY talkative!!

Anyway, once we had dumped our luggage in our rooms we took a walk out to the main drag which is right on the edge of the ocean. It was freezing cold, blowing a gale and the sea spray was covering us all with a fine misty layer of salt. I LOVED IT!

Smiggings is very timid,she only normally comes out at night to look for crumbs or sniff the floor but once she knew an everton player was coming in they had to sedate her she was so happy,just look at the excitement in her eyes in our pic!

21 March After seeing Dani off, Emily and I went back to the room and got ready to leave. We ended up running a little late so we ran to the tube station so we could get the the bus station, only to find that the tube station was conveniently closed. So we ran to several bus stops until we found the right bus to get on. We finally made it to the National bus terminal and I was about to explode with the pain of the weight of my bags ...

... to Mancheser airport by 12.30 ready for the 3.30 flight. The place was swarming with armed cops (due to the Glasgow airport bombing) we had to park about 500 yards from the terminal and lug 2 over weight rucsacks and 2 day bags through the police line. So Bonnie got upset about the police and Rachel got upset because her Mum was upset and then Rich got upset cos he had left his phone in the car and Rachel had to do a 100 mile return journey to get the ...
