    ... Ok, I was ignorant for not researching it beforehand. So, due to being completely floored with surprise, the Badlands are the most bad-ass. It was a welcome respite from the never-ending fields. Plus, it really does take forever to get here - so I'm selling to myself that the Badlands are, by and far, the best national park!     Today was nothing special. Except for the fact that when we arrived, it was pouring rain. Since I woke up early, I traversed through the rain in order to get to catering to eat some much needed breakfast. Upon finishing that, I headed back through the rain to the bus that was a ways away. not thirty minutes later, the bus moved to a spot less than twenty feet from the door, so I really didn't have to get we, had I known the bus was going to move.
