    ... this was is that the town and seafront are on slightly different levels; probably about 40 metres different. We walked through the town learning of its origins; being foundered by Henry Pease as a village for his workers to find some recreation. He had Quaker beliefs so the village seemed similar to its midlands equivalent in Bournville.     ... looking for a place for lunch.
    We fond the Cobblestone Cafe in the centre of Grassington and we enjoyed the paninis with tea. As we were looking for a table another couple offered to let us share their table in the courtyard outside so we passed the time waiting for lunch chatting to a couple from Chesterfield who were staying nearby for a few days walking.

    ... without a clue in the world. We approached the woman behind the first desk, nose pierced, knotted hair and asked "we want to go travelling?" at first she didn't say anything, but her response was written all over her face "no ****". But in a more diplomatic answer she replies "where do you want to go?".     ... the wall. Only saw it done once.
    Then it was back to town in another taxi (350 NEP rupees) and off to the nearest pub to our hotel for dinner. After which I stayed in the hotel & they went out on a crawl.
    Soon there was thunder and lightening, very fairly frightening. Then it started raining and went on for most of the night, waking me up at 5am.
    Well I'm down to 22% so think I'd better download the PIC and leave today's travels till tomorrow.
