We are leaving Melbourne and Lee today, heading to Sidney with Amy which should take us 3 days. We packed up and left our chalet calling into to Lee's house before we set off to say a sad farewell. We are not really sure when we shall see Lee again, so I felt really sad, although now knowing that Australia is really not that far away perhaps not as bad as I may have ...
First Stop
... on top of the bed spread. The carpet had holes in it and it smelled musty. Nevertheless, we unloaded and then went for a walk along the river that was recommended by the hotel owners. We tracked the river for awhile and then heard some birds screeching loudly. We saw that they were wild Cockatoos. Whole flocks of them!

... Wymah Valley Campsite. We stayed in a cabin there which was great. The dogs were quite calm and we relaxed with pizza and tv! There were some lovely walks around the lake there which was good for the boys too. Great accommodation here for us and the dogs. Very clean cabins and nice grassy areas to walk them. EXPLORING THE MIGHTY MURRAY RIVER
... to stay- Barham Lakes CP, $20pn with power. It rained heavily from late afternoon so it was into the onsite bathroom for a lovely hot shower, and then into the van for dinner, red wine and TV.
