We cancelled doing the work that we were going to do, and, as the game guards were off for a national holiday (women's day - how cool!!) we decided it was our job to walk around the reserve looking for the animals. ... we were off to the Drakensberg mountains for the day! We set off at about half 7 in the morning and went to the Waffle Hut for breakfast just outside Winterton. Despite it being breakfast, Dela and I managed to have a 3 course meal... we shared a cooked breakfast, waffles with banana, bacon and maple syrup, and to finish off a very chocolatey waffle dessert!!
