... none of them could understand us so we decided to walk and try and find it ourselves. My mood had slowly been worsening since we got off the bus. We got on our excursion about 12:30 and the coach was fully air conditioned and clean. We visited St. Francis Church which is the oldest church, it was founded by the Portuguese in 1503. The inside was plain but impressive. The fans were mechanical, large pieces of fabric that moved from side-to-side. The pews were wooden benches.
