... what we all needed. (This was one of the smallest days in the past few weeks – 1 foot on magic seaweed, but for me a perfect size.. shoulder height, mega clean and no wind.. big smiles all round. Ollie met up with some boys his age. They are mostly great surfers, but he has developed the confidence to paddle out with them. He is now riding a grommet board (a 5.6) but doing well. One of his new mates who shreds pushes Ollie into waves!

... had a lovely meal of eggs Benedict and home made muffins which were excellent and the coffee was excellent too. A good start.

We then popped down the road to Aunty Ruth's who took us to the new Velodrome (opened by the young royals on their recent trip), where there is an excellent set of cycle tracks for youngsters.
