High season has REALLY set in, with several consequences:

First of all the prices of most things have gone up. Hotels (which isn't a factor for me as I have locked in the low season rate); restaurants; and even supermarkets. For example, the prices of bread and bottled water have gone up over ten percent in the past few days.

... really weird cos we could have been in England! and then we found AN ENGLISH CAFE!!! so exciting, and i managed to track down a pizza :) then we walked to the lake with a creepy little funfair, where amelia got really excited about the magic tricks and we rented a pedelo. we got chased around the lake a bit by indians, but now we say we come from Narnia and this seems to deter them somewhat.
